Nakagawa (那珂川市, Nakagawa-shi) is a city located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.[1][2] The city was founded on October 1, 2018, making it the newest city in Japan.
The city has an estimated population of 50,444 and a density of 670 persons per km2. The total area is 74.95 km2 (28.94 sq mi).[3] It is connected to Hakata Station by an 8-minute shinkansen trip.
