The 2001–02 season was Paris Saint-Germain's 32nd season in existence.[1][2] PSG played their home league games at the Parc des Princes in Paris, registering an average attendance of 41,040 spectators per match.[1][2][3] The club was presided by Laurent Perpère and the team was coached by Luis Fernández.[1][2] Frédéric Déhu was the team captain.[4]
