The Ålesund Region (Norwegian: Ålesundregionen, Urban East Norwegian: [ˈôːɫəsʉnrɛɡɪˌuːnn̩]) is a metropolitan region in Møre og Romsdal county in western Norway. It consists of a number of municipalities, centered on the city/municipality of Ålesund.[1]
