וַתִּקְרָא • (vatikrá)

1. Third-person feminine singular vav-consecutive imperfect (hence past tense) of קָרָא‎ (kará).

     ‏וַתֵּלֶךְ הָעַלְמָה וַתִּקְרָא אֶת אֵם הַיָּלֶד‎

     vatélech haalmá vatikrá et em hayáled

     And the maid went and called the child's mother.

     ‏וַיְהִי לָהּ לְבֵן וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ מֹשֶׁה‎
