⁧הוֹדִיעַ⁩ • (hodía) third-singular masculine past (hif'il construction)

To inform, to announce, to make known.
⁧הודיעו לנו שאין חשמל.⁩ — hodí'u lánu she'éin khashmál. — They informed us that there is no electricity.

The recipient of the information, if any, is given in a prepositional phrase with the preposition ⁧לְ־⁩ (l'-).
